- Abstract
The article offers information on high-performance electrowetting displays (EWDs). It states that achieving accurate multiple-gray-level performance for video applications using EWDs, phenomena such as hysteresis, charge trapping, and oil splitting need to be considered. The paper presents a driving scheme involving a decoupling driving concept, an asymmetric driving concept, and charge-trapping-suppression and oil-splitting methods.
