- Abstract
Pre-capillary pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) may be discovered accidentally but is often revealed by dyspnea or right heart failure. We report a case of pre-capillary PAHrevealed by recurrent paradoxical ischemic strokes in a 43-year-old patient. The assessment revealed a patent foramen ovale and an atrial septum aneurysm. Under conservative treatment the outcome was fatal in three years.
