- Title
All reincarnations not blessed by China outlawed.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the guidelines from atheist China that declared the invalidness of reincarnations unless they are approved under a new 14-article law. It notes that this news which was broadcasted in all major government media outlets had received several criticisms from Tibetan people. Freedom House, a U.S. rights group, criticized that the initiative is a violation of basic religious freedom principles. Meanwhile, Joseph Li Shan was nominated as a Bishop of Beijing on August 1, 2007.
