- Abstract
The article focuses on teaching college students in the U.S. about coding and computer programming as part of writing for software. Topics discussed include an online course created by the author where graduate students learned art concepts from digital humanities, practiced data visualization using R programming language and kept writing journals while learning coding. Other topics include making students develop software as part of programming practices and sharing codes with others.
