- Abstract
The article discusses a study which aims to analyze activities of daily living (ADL) and quality of rehabilitation services offered to the disabled in a rural area of Kamataka, India. It notes that the community-based rehabilitation (CBR) aims to make sure that disabled people are able to maximize their physical and mental abilities, have access to regular services and opportunities and achieve full social integration within their communities. The study found that majority of people with disabilities were able to do their ADL.
