Acyrthosiphon (A.) loti (Theobald) (Aphididae) has been found for the first time in Argentina and South America, on cultivate lucerne (Medicago sativaL.) (Fabaceae). This is the seventh aphid species recorded in Argentina on lucerne. The peculiar characteristics of studied specimens are given. Modifications to a previous identification key are presented.
