- Abstract
The article looks into the U.S. Supreme Court case Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. v. Groskter, Ltd. Before the 2005 decision of the Supreme Court, users of Grokster's FastTrack network had already declined. Meanwhile, copyright owners have favored suing facilitators over direct infringers. Attempts by copyright owners to use indirect liability to control file-sharing technologies is outlined.
