- Abstract
The article focuses on the Canadians' knowledge of Canada's role in World War I and II. Surveys about this topic conducted by the firm Leger Marketing for the Association for Canadian Studies and Veterans Affairs Canada are discussed. Topics mentioned include statistics related to the importance Canadians place on knowing about both world wars, the 1867 Confederation, and aboriginal history and issues, patriotism, and knowledge about Canada's allies and the myth of domestic unity during World War II.
