The article examines the events during the Battle of Waterloo on June 18, 1815 in an attempt to provide an accurate view of what happened on the field of Waterloo in Belgium. Topics discussed include the significance of the battle which changed the course of European history and several important lessons for humanity that are applicable for any age. Information is also presented on the opposing armies, the battlefield, and their leaders including French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.
