Title
A Memorable Image?
Abstract
The article presents information on a new study by neuroscientists from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), according to which the most memorable photographs are those that contain people, followed by static indoor scenes, and human-scale objects. The MIT researchers developed a computer algorithm that can rank images on the basis of memorability. Phillip Isola, one of the lead researchers, said that landscapes may be beautiful, but in most cases, they are forgettable.
