- Title
Good News for Dinosaur Hunters.
- Abstract
The article presents a study about the existence of most dinosaurs that remains unaccounted for, as conducted by Peter Dodson and Steve Wang. Dodson, a professor of anatomy in the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine and Wang, who is a statistician at Swarthmore College, estimate that 71 percent of all dinosaur genera are still awaiting discovery. With this information, they claim that a child born today could expect a very fruitful career in dinosaur paleontology since they predict that 75 percent of discoverable genera will be found within 60 to 100 years and 90 percent within the next 140 years.
