- Title
Compulsive Texting = Lower Grades.
- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of a study published by the American Psychological Association which reveals that teenage girls who send text messages compulsively are more likely to get lower grades in school compared to their male counterparts. Topics covered include lead researcher Kelly M. Lister-Landmand's opinion that it is not the frequency but the compulsive nature of "texting" that is problematic and the tendency to teenage girls to engage in preoccupied thinking.
