- Abstract
The article focuses on the elements of parties among U.S. youth and the Party Smart program of the Ohio State University in Columbus to promote healthy partying. The program includes a kit that consists of educational party planning manual, brochure, information on state alcohol laws and non-alcoholic beverages. Binge drinking is considered when females drink more than four alcoholic beverages in a row while five drinks in a row for males. In Virginia, party hosts are required to know the policies of their landlord on parties, noise and nuisance.
