- Abstract
The article presents information on study involving the isolation of chemical constituents of a traditional medicine called Angelica tenuissima. In the study, eight compounds, including 3-butylidene-4-hydroxyphthalide, calycanthoside, succinic acid, and docosanoic acid were isolated from Angelica tenuissima by using different chromatographic techniques. The dried radices of Angelica tenuissima were extracted with MeOH, and were subject to silica gel column chromatography.
