- Abstract
This article, published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging, presents a case report of a 48-year-old woman who developed mucoid vasculopathy and multiple giant pseudoaneurysms following a Bentall procedure. The patient had previously undergone surgery for an ascending aortic aneurysm and severe aortic regurgitation. The article describes the diagnostic process, including echocardiogram and computed tomography (CT) scans, and the subsequent surgical repair of the pseudoaneurysms. The authors note that mucoid vasculopathy is a rare form of vasculopathy and that this case is the first reported instance of multiple huge pseudoaneurysms associated with this condition.
