Title
Senegal: MFDC Rivalry.
Abstract
The article reports on the dispute between the rival wings of the Movement of the Democratic Forces of Casamance (MFDC) in Senegal. The MFDC rivalry started in the eastern area of Casamance in May, 2006. The fighting spread on June 9 of the same year to Djibidione. The latest unrest appears to be the result of a clash between MFDC leaders Salif Sadio and Magne Dieme.
