- Abstract
To solve the problem of multiple processing and poor processing uniformity of each surface of aero-engine main shaft bearing rings, an overall grinding method with floating clamp, friction drive and horizontal limit is proposed. The coupling simulation of EDEM and ADAMS is used to analyze the normal force on each surface of the rings under different media filling amounts and vessel rotation speeds, and the dispersion coefficient of normal force distribution is introduced to evaluate the distribution uniformity of normal force on each surface of the rings. The simulation results show that: when the media filling amount is less than 60%, the dispersion coefficient of normal force on each surface of the rings is larger; when the medium filling amount is 70%-80% and the vessel rotation speed is higher than 32 r/min, the dispersion coefficient of normal force on each surface of the rings is small. Finally, a test platform is built for grinding experiment of the rings. According to simulation results, the filling amount of 80% and the rotational speed of 60 r/min are selected. The test results show that the roughness values of each surface of the rings are reduced and the differences are reduced, proving that the grinding method can realize the overall grinding of the rings.
