The article reports on the use of social media to effectuate an efficient system for serving defendants in the U.S. Topics discussed include U.S. Supreme Court case Pennoyer v. Neff on progression of service of process; U.S. courts handling of service of process via Facebook prior to the Baidoo v. Blood-Dzraku decision; and framework adopted by Indiana courts for addressing whether service of process via social media would be acceptable in a given case.
