The author discusses the theological component of the challenges facing transgender individuals focusing on the effects of the anti-queer theology in the Catholic primary and secondary schools in America on youth, relative to the suicide of transgender youth Leelah by walking onto a highway. Topics include the anti-queer theology and Catholic values by Catholic schools as a basis for denying accommodations to transgender students, and theological perspective for natural law tradition.
