- Abstract
The article presents an investigation of a certain patient whose cough has lasted for several weeks. The expert designed the algorithm to follow findings in the literature on the treatment of patient with chronic cough. The patient underwent a rhinoscopic examination. Clinicians detected redness or abnormal discharge on the nasal mucosa. They prescribed a 5-day course of antihistamine, pseudoephedrine and intranasal corticosteroid. Among 378 patients showed erythematous mucosa or abnormal discharge in rhinoscopic examinations. As with the treatment, it is proven true that patients with any abnormality were treated for postnasal drip syndrome.
