The author reflects on the article "How We Might Make Special Education for Students With Emotional or Behavioral Disorders Less Stigmatizing" by J. M. Kauffman and J. Badar within the issue. In the article he offers his opinions on several points which are raised in Kauffman and Badar's article and on strategies that could be used to help individuals and medical professionals gain a better understanding of students with emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD) and lead to the prevention of related stigmas.
