- Abstract
About the behavior of liquid soil under dynamic load The following article deals with the behaviour of liquid soil under dynamic loading. The focus was on the resistance of the soil‐mechanical parameters against simulated rolling loads such as those to be assumed for fillings under railways in tunnels. Liquid soil recipes adapted to the objectives and to the soil types predominantly found in tunnel construction were developed. Specimens that were dynamically loaded and not dynamically loaded were produced and, after 28 days of hermetic storage, compared with each other with regard to their cohesion and their angle of friction. For the selected boundary conditions, no adverse influence of the dynamic load on the investigated formulations could be determined.
