- Abstract
The present article focuses – on a theoretical-conceptual level – on inclusionoriented collaborative teaching between teachers with different career backgrounds in schools. Based upon an analysis of current approaches to collaborative teaching in inclusive education, it becomes evident that the understanding and decision-making of collaborative teaching – understood as a system with multiple systems’ references to its environment – has been insufficiently reflected upon so far. By applying theoretical modeling according to Luhmann’s Systems’ Theory, structural elements of collaborative teaching are developed. Finally, the author illustrates the findings with an example, and outlines the expected additional epistemological value.
