- Abstract
This article, published in Dermatology Reports, discusses a case of a 91-year-old woman with a recurrent cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) on her lower eyelid and cheek. The article describes the surgical procedure used to reconstruct the defects, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery (MMS) with frozen sections and the use of flaps for eyelid and cheek reconstruction. The outcome of the surgery was successful, with no complications and the correction of the ectropion maintained two years after the procedure. The article highlights the importance of MMS in treating CSCC and discusses the specific surgical techniques used in this case.
