- Abstract
This article announces the opening of the new specialty starch plant of the National Starch and Chemical Corp. at North Kansas City, Missouri with a ribbon cutting, reception, and luncheon on November 25, 1985. The event was attended by Missouri Governor John Ashcroft and several prominent city, county, and state government officials as well as a number of business and civic leaders. The new plant is the largest and most modern facility of its kind in the world, located on the north bank of the Missouri River.
