The article presents a conversation between authors David Ikard and Joan Morgan about the nuances of sex, contemporary hip hop culture and misogyny. Ikard, the author of the book "Breaking the Silence: Toward a Black Male Feminist Criticism," discusses the place where health exchange around sex and eroticism take place when referring to African Americans' community. Also, Morgan, the author of the book "When Chickenheads Come Home to Roost: A Hip-Hop Feminist Breaks It Down," expresses opposition on the masculinity in women and explores the salsa dance.
