- Abstract
The article focuses on the historical, literary, and structure of the First Epistle of John. It mentions that the mentioned biblical text is of three concepts, which include one wherein the Apostle John wrote the text, one wherein it is believe that the Johannine corpus was written by three different authors, and that the Gospel was some sort of amalgamation. It also cites the similarities in language and terminology as the basis to consider that the Apostle John was the author of the text.
