- Abstract
An essay is presented on the relationship between English actor Robert Armin and poverty. It explores the character of a certain John in some major works of Robert Armin including "Foole upon Foole," "A Nest of Ninnies" and "The Two Maids of More-Clacke." It relates the life of Armin in London, England and his attitude toward urban poverty and the necessity of charity.
