- Abstract
The article reports on the guidelines on the administration of intravitreal injections that discourage the use of tropical antibiotics for the procedure to prevent endophthalmitis or eye inflammation. Topics discussed include the statement from doctor Emmett T. Cunningham Jr., the use of povidine-iodine as an antiseptic agent, and the use of eyelid speculum.
