- Authors
Callaghan, Geoffrey
- Abstract
The author reflects on author Mark Murphy's weak natural law jurisprudence thesis which states that law is not backed by decisive reasons for action is indeed still law, but is defective precisely as law. He presents answers to Murphy's questions regarding law's defectiveness and law continuance despite it being defective. It analyzes law through various angles including as a conventional entity, as a functional kind and as a structural kind.
