- Abstract
The article discusses the fables semiconductor industry in the U.S. as one of the two types of semiconductor industries which has been characterized by rapid product innovation and become competitive due to rapid growth and high demand. It analyzes the current patent application on-sale bar that stems from the Federal Circuit's decision. It also discusses the newly-passed America Invents Act, the first substantial amendment to the country's patent law since the Patent Act of 1952.
