Vet found guilty of misconduct but no sanction imposed.
- Abstract
The article reports that Oldham, England-based veterinary surgeon Paul Evans has been found guilty of misconduct by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Evans wrongly advised a client that she could administer norethindrone to suppress oestrus in a greyhound bitch entered to run in a National Greyhound Racing Club (NGRC)-accredited race. The drug was not listed among the oestrus suppressants approved by the NGRC. No sanction was imposed on Evans.
