- Abstract
Investigates the potential effects of poisoned bait containing either strychnine or the carbamate-based T3327 on the ability to monitor the spread of rabies in culled wildlife carcases. Experimental in vivo model; Detection of rabies virus by fluorescent antibody test and by reverse transcriptase polymerase chair reaction; Suggestion that both assays would be suitable for detecting rabies in poisoned foxes.
