- Abstract
Speciality journals have several roles. Until recently, the main role of Clinical Rehabilitation has been to publish a record of scientific research into aspects of rehabilitation and, for convenience, three types of paper have been recognized: evaluative studies; studies concerning data collection tools; and other exploratory studies. Another role of speciality medical journals is to improve practice through education, debate and discussion. This concerns the practice of rehabilitation. The journal is looking for and will welcome papers that concern the improvement of clinical practice based on the available evidence. The section will be entitled 'Rehabilitation in practice'.
