- Abstract
The article presents a study which analyzes the outcome of Ewing sarcoma patients and the relevant prognostic factors by utilizing a population-based cancer registry. The study conducted a retrospective analysis of Ewing sarcoma cases diagnosed from 1989 to 2007 in the California Cancer Registry (CCR). The results revealed that adult age, low socioeconomic status (SES) and Hispanic age were independent risk factors for poor overall survival (OS) of Ewing sarcoma patient cases.
