- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 44-year-old man who presented to the local hospital due to neck pain, anorexia and malaise. The man's whole spine was scanned after intravenous Gadolinium which showed peripheral enhancement of the epidural collection, consistent with abscess. He was transferred to a spinal rehabilitation unit and received intravenous antimicrobial regimen for 8 weeks.
