- Abstract
This article aims at analyzing the conceptualization of teachers' belief system and processes of reasoning from a socio-constructivist perspective. It approaches the belief system as a conceptual, personal, subjective and dynamic base that makes a significant impact on both the teachers' practice and behaviour in the classroom, and on the process of change and innovation in education.
