Silencing Pests.
- Abstract
The article discusses the potential of ribonucleic acid (RNA) technology that silences the genes of crop pests and fungi for next-generation pesticides as of March 2022. Topics covered include the exploration of RNA interference (RNAi) pesticides that address chemical spray problems, their high-specificity in targeting pests and effectivity, and their quick degradation in the environment.
