- Abstract
The article discusses Australia's agriculture and water policies as of June 2015. Topics include the implications of water shortage on the ability to provide food for subsequent generations, the transfer of water rights, and the use of water to sustain agricultural production in the country. Other topics include the 2007 implementation of the National Water Reform, which was about agricultural competition and effective land management, proposed construction of agricultural infrastructure, and ther country's role on world food security.
