- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that was aimed at analyzing the concept of hot and cold among children of first grade in the United States. The technique of free conversation was adopted in which children were asked to talk about hot and cold. The discussion was free among children and was not directed from outside in any form. The conversation among children revolved around production on heat and cold, effects of heat and cold and thermometer. The analysis made through the study was considered helpful for teachers and prospective teachers. It also turned useful in studying child psychology.
