The article discusses the biopolitics and geographies of genocide in Rwanda. Topics discussed include the divide between the Tutsi and Hutu, the reconfiguration of public spaces in the country in the context of genocide, and ethnic cleansing which contributed to the formation of refugee camps and the introduction of the new social identity called internally displaced person.
