A biography of Shirley Jackson, the novelist and short story writer is presented. Topics discussed include her birth in 1916 in San Francisco and studied at Syracuse University, and met her husband Stanley Edgar Hyman, awards she received for her achievements in the literature of psychological, and her novels including "We Have Always Lived in the Castle," and "The Haunting of Hill House."
