Textile companies weave plans to revive 18 ailing NTC mills.
- Abstract
The article reports on the plan of textile companies to revive several textile mills of the National Textile Corp. (NTC) in India. The textile companies including Alok Industries, Bhaskar Industries and Ganesh Polytex are planning to restore 18 mills of the NTC as part of a modernization plan. The modernization plan of the NTC is expected to have a turnover of 600 Indian rupees in crore. NTC also has plans to set up a new textile mill in the Vidarbha region. One thousand acres of land in cities will be sold by NTC.
