- Abstract
Abstract. The main purpose of this paper is to propose a notion of perturbation for nonlinear Volterra integral equations that allows us to determine that, the existence of solutions for perturbed equations (with non-monotone associated operator) is equivalent to the existence of solution for the non-perturbed equation (with monotone associated operator). To do it we introduce a new characterization of the existence of nontrivial solutions for nonlinear Volterra integral equations.
