- Authors
Notar, Charles E.; Padgett, Sharon
- Abstract
A review of the literature to answer the questions "Are students with special needs targeted for bullying more often than others? In what ways are students with special needs bullied?" The authors will define bullying, risk factors for victims, discuss whether students with exceptionalities are targeted for bullying more than others, the ways they are bullied, and research findings for specific categories of students with exceptionalities. The research indicates that this population of students is the favorite target of a bully/bully-victim.
