- Abstract
The article focuses on issues concerning the first amendment religious freedom rights in different school campuses in the U.S. It mentions the complain of several members of the Jehovah's Witness religion regarding the mandatory practice of school rules which are contrary to their religious ideals. It notes that legal scholars sometimes split the First Amendment into three separate areas such as Religious Rights, Speech Rights, and the Right to Petition the government. It highlights the use of Bible courses in the classrooms as a way to integrate religious teaching in the public schools.
