- Title
THE ANXIETIES OF AUTHENTICITY IN POST-2000 BRITISH FICTION.
- Authors
Lea, Daniel
- Abstract
An essay on the post-2000 British fiction is presented. It offers a review of the diversity and the diminishing authenticity in British fiction and examines the works including "The Raw Shark Texts," by Steven Hall and "Remiander," by Tom McCarthy to show that the diminishing authenticity in British fiction is due to unresolved tensions between postdeconstructive subject and expressivist ethic. The author relates that both authors attest to the authentic value of contemporary literature.
