- Abstract
The article presents a study that examines the use of Sono-explorer (SE) electronic device as a measuring instrument for endodontic treatment without using X-rays. It cites the use of the Ingle method with the use of X-ray as well as SE in measuring the length of the tooth in 61 patients, who have been divided into two groups. It explores the relationship between the roentgenological apex of the X-ray and the apical point of SE for both groups. The results of the study show that the average difference presented in the two methods is 0.455 millimeter for group A and 0.53 millimeter for B.
