- Abstract
The aim of this study was the validation of a HPLC method for isoniazid (I) and rifampicin (II) on a Waters e 2695 liquid chromatograph and detection in UV at 230 nm, equiped with a Nucleosil 100-10 C18 (250 x 4.6 mm) column and a mobile phase formed by a mixture of acetonitrile / 0.01 M oxalic acid (80 / 20) at a flow of 1.5 ml/min. The method shows a good liniarity in the range of 5 - 100 μg/ml showing values of correlation coefficient r = 0.9999 (I) and 0.9998 (II). The detection limits are 0,6 μg/ml (I) and 2,2 μg/ml (II), the quantification limits are 1,9 μg/ml (I) and 6,7 μgl/ml (II). F??o??r both studied substances it was established the system precision (RSD = < 2%), the method precision (RSD < 5%) and the accuracy, the mean recovery are 102,66% in 101.30-101.46% range and 100.51% in 99.34-102.32% range for (I) and (II) respectively.
