The author discusses the constitutional referendum in Thailand on whether the military junta should have a role in the country's democratic institutions. He explores the absence of significant voices from established opposition parties and groups serving as the government watchdogs, as well as the voices of independent citizens opposing the referendum online, focusing on the referendum results which supported the constitutional proposal of the military.
